Bio:Rebecca (Becky) is originally from Albuquerque, NM. She moved to Chicago after high school and spent her time in Chicago attending college, working in risk management for a law firm, traveling the world, and playing rugby. Through rugby, Becky grew a love for physical therapy and decided to switch her career path.
Becky attended Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Becky worked as a traveling physical therapist, serving offices and patients across the United States, eventually taking a 6 month travel contract in our Kona office. Becky enjoyed living and working in Kona so much she stayed and joined the Therapydia team full time in January 2020. Her professional goal is to deliver high quality collaborative care to the residents of the Big Island.
Becky’s professional interests include outpatient orthopedics, pelvic health (women, men, & pediatric), pregnancy, postpartum care, contact sports, and chronic pain conditions. Becky completed her advanced pelvic health training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
